Our latest custom project was designed for Ghost Pest Control’s First Annual Golf Outing at Knoll West Country Club, held on October 8th in Boonton, NJ. They wanted to create a unique gift that would not only capture their brand but also serve as a functional keepsake for attendees.
We started by transforming their signature ghost mascot into a custom-shaped ball marker – the perfect accessory for the Halloween season! Who wouldn’t want to mark their ball with a ghost during October? To complete the look, we designed a matching divot tool featuring the Ghost Pest Control logo prominently on the front, with a special slot where the ghost marker slides in and stays put, thanks to a secure neodymium magnet.
To add an extra touch of luxury, we packaged the divot tools in custom velour bags bearing the Ghost Pest Control logo, making the gift feel even more special. This combination of unique design and thoughtful presentation ensured that attendees walked away with something they’d not only use but also cherish as a memento of the event.
The Custom Process: From Concept to Creation
The journey from concept to creation is a collaborative one, and we’re dedicated to ensuring each project tells a story. Here’s how it works:
- Initial Contact: It all began when Matt Gambino from Ghost Pest Control reached out to us, eager to create something special for his event.
- Design Phase: We worked closely with Matt, presenting multiple design options that captured the essence of his company’s brand. One of the most challenging aspects was balancing the playful, Halloween-themed design with Ghost Pest Control’s professional image. However, by focusing on the company’s core values and incorporating subtle elements of their branding, we were able to create a design that was both fun and appropriate.
- Production: Once the designs were finalized, we got to work. It takes about five weeks to produce a high-quality ball marker and divot tool set. Each marker is crafted from an iron base, then plated in a metal color that complements the client’s logo – options include gold, brass, nickel, copper, and more. The divot tool, made from zinc alloy, is matched with the same plating, and both pieces are carefully hand-painted to perfection.
- Delivery: The finished product was delivered on time, ready to make a splash at Ghost Pest Control’s golf outing.
The end result was a stunning, one-of-a-kind gift that attendees loved, providing them with a high-quality divot tool and ball marker they could proudly use on the course.

The matching divot tool resembled a record player with a golf green, ball, and flag, and the event’s name was engraved on the back. It was a hit, bringing back nostalgic vibes with a modern twist!
- Southern Ionics: We took Southern Ionics’ iconic truck design and turned it into a custom-shaped ball marker, perfectly capturing their brand. The matching divot tool featured their logo front and center, with their website engraved on the back, providing a functional yet eye-catching piece that reinforced their brand identity.
- TYMETAL Security Gates: For TYMETAL, we designed a ball marker in the shape of their logo, which seamlessly slid into a divot tool engraved with their contact information. This combination of branding and utility made it an ideal golf giveaway, ensuring their brand stayed top of mind.
